To develop a new database with historical demographic data for New South Wales and Australia. 

The initial focus will be on data on religion, education and population. The aim is to provide compilations of 19th and 20th century demographic data, preserving the wording and spirit of the original documents, in format will engage the interest of 21st century researchers and members of the wider community.
